Meet the Team

Tom qualified in 2002 as one of the youngest Chartered Building Surveyors in the country and has worked at Lambert Smith Hampton, EC Harris and Arnolds Keys in Norwich. During his career he has worked with a number of corporate and private landlords and investors, major occupiers, the public sector and domestic clients.

Tom is proud of his attention to detail during his work which has earned him a well respected position with his peers.

Toms personal approach and communication when applying his knowledge often extends above our client’s expectations. 

Paul gained a degree Building Surveying in 2001 and became a Chartered Residential Surveyor and Valuer in 2004 working for both private and corporate surveying practices covering the whole of East Anglia undertaking Home-buyers and Building Surveys. Paul has also worked for local authorities in their Building Surveying and maintenance departments and can advise on a wealth of building related issues and on residential property acquisitions.

Paul has experience in inspections on all types of properties but has carved an interesting niche in surveying Listed and larger properties in and around the East Anglian coast and countryside. Priding himself on his personable approach to his clients and profession he is happy to speak with clients before and after the survey to discuss any queries they may have.

Jane joined North and Hawkins after spending nine years working for another firm of chartered surveyors in Norwich, which is where she first worked with Tom.  Prior to that she worked for an energy and environmental consultancy. You will probably speak to Jane first when you call the office. Rest assured she will be able to help you and knows all our services inside and out. 

Jane organises the dairies, books appointments and does a great job keeping on top of the office admin.

Ollie is the newest member of the North and Hawkins team after joining us for some work experience and after graduating from university with a Building Surveying degree we welcomed him aboard. Ollie is now working towards his APC to become Chartered and has his own overseen workload as well as helping Paul and Tom. Outside of work he is avid sportsman and enjoys walking his dogs.
