What is it all about?

One of a Chartered Building Surveyor’s core skills is defect investigation.  We are regularly called upon to identify the cause of building defects, which have often been confounding owners or contractors over a period of time.

Using our knowledge of construction technology and a range of analytical techniques and equipment, we will asses building defects and provide a cost effective solution.

Why might you need us?

Not many properties are free of any building defects, but when that defect becomes a nuisance or danger it is time to act.  We like nothing better than solving the causes of dampness and cracking as well as a myriad of other issues.

​

Once the cause is identified we can produce an appropriate scope of work or specification and arrange for re-mediation of the defect.
