Fire Risk Assessments
What is it all about?

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 replaced the Fire Precautions Act of 1971. The Fire Service will no longer issue Fire Certificates. Instead a risk based approach is employed where those individuals with responsibility for certain premises must review the fire precautions measures as a whole which will include both physical matters such as escape routes, compartmentation and alarm systems as well as the suitability of any management processes and record keeping.
